Nottingham East Midlands Airport Transport Forum

The STAR Directors have been working closely with the NEMA Transport Forum for a number of years. Having identified a credible and sustainable surface access strategy, the STAR Directors were successful in obtaining major funding from DfT’s Kickstart programme to implement the scheme. STAR then submitted a subsequent bid for funding from East Midlands Development Agency (EMDA) to enable the Airport Transport Forum to develop a full network of bus services to improve access to the Airport. STAR has assisted the Forum throughout this process.
